Never too sick to be a princess!

Man! We have had a rough few days! We got a case of stomach flu (from now on referenced as "plague"). I am pretty sure I've washed every fabric item in this house twice, sanitized every surface at least as many times and changed countless diapers that made my stomach turn. I can't remember the last time we were this ill. (Brad says 4.5 years ago lol). We were so sick we couldn't even drive to get Angelynn at the meet spot. However, to my surprise, Jory was willin to bring we the full way. It was cool because he could then see her town, school and home. Prior to plague we had rearranged angelynn's room an swapped her single bed for the queen from Benjamin's room. She literally squealed with delight!

I am blessed with genuinely sweet friends here! People prayed, brought meals, delivered supplies and offered pity:)..we seem to be on the mend!

Of course, we were late this morning. The car battery was dead (left the DVD players on :/). And we had to grab milk so I missed the bell. Darn;( I was offered a permanent school pass though lol;)


A few highlights:
Laine still dressed like a princess through the plague:) she said cute things like "Lainey wears a swim soup in da pool".

Landon and I played "sharks" and snuggled close. He told me "mama you're better than 1500 flowers."

Angelynn came home and has been so sweet, even allowing her siblings to color all over her. ( she says it feels good).

And Benny is all smiles no matter how miserable he is!
