Timing is everything

I am waiting as patiently as possible for my yay or nay on grad school. I'm anxious even though I know I have other options. Unfortunately, I submitted my app right before Boston and the surrounding area got dumped on with snow so my app may be delayed. So, poor timing, but I'm not a meteorologist so I had no idea about the impending storm.

Same comes with everything! Last week I passed a kidney stone, bad on its own worst that it was paired with 2 kids with pink eye and secondary infections!  See, timing! Made for a rough week.

A tiny bit of timing changes everything. Occasionally you meet awesome people but it does not allow for any relationship to bloom due to the timing.

Im taken back to a guy I liked in my early twenties. He knew what to say, was a great dancer and was fun to be around. Problem? I was a single mom and he was into seeing his wild oats. Now he is ready to settle down and I'm already taken. He and I have had many great conversations over the years. Sweet guy, the timing was just wrong.

Same can go for interviews, buying a house, meeting your soul mate. One of my favorite songs "Romeo and Juliet" talks about this on the love front.

Beloveds, sometimes we cannot fix ill timed fate. Sometimes though I feel it is a test in our perseverance. Tough to know. Thoughts?!
