As of late I have lost some very important people in my life. People I poured a lot of love into. Whether it be meal swaps, flowers on a bad day, acts of service or just a caring ear.
When your love is refused it can leave you feeling like a little child holding a handful of dandelions that they worked hard to pick only to have them called weeds by the recipient.
It would be easy to stop giving, and honestly there have been times I've stopped and you should too if it is futile. However, I'm not going to stop sharing myself and pouring myself into those around me, even if they see my efforts as "weeds."
The right people will treasure your weeds and see them for what they are, pure love.
Beloveds, please don't let the sting of unrequited love keep you from loving. That love is the beauty in this world; even when it doesn't seem appreciated or noticed.
Blessings!
